After Supreme Court Defeat, Trump to Take Another Shot at Dreamers

If at first you don’t succeed…

It appears that the Trump administration is determined to end the Dreamers program that protects immigrants who entered the United States illegally as children. DHS Secretary Chad Wolf told NBC’s “Meet the Press” that the administration plans to end it within six months.

Wolf said:

“At no point in that decision did they say that the program was lawful. They simply didn’t like the rationale and the procedures that we used.”

The Supreme Court ruled the administration had not followed the law because it did not offer a reasonable explanation for ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), which protects roughly 649,000 immigrants from deportation. That leaves the door open for Trump to take another shot at ending the program.

Of course, there is an alternative. Congress could actually do its job and create common-sense immigration reform, that way the nation, and immigrants such as those brought here as children, wouldn’t be left wondering how policies will change with every new president.

So, if the Dreamers want to stay in AMERICA so bad, they are now all old enough to apply for citizenship, why are they still just sitting around crying about it, just wanting government handouts? Why is it the Dreamers are not out applying for legal citizenship? They have been given a free education, they have been taught the laws of the land, they have been taught to read & write & most have gotten a free college education, so there is no excuse as to why, they can not go and fill out the proper paperwork to become legal citizens, like the rest of those who have immigrated to America! It is the fault of their Parents, NOT the fault of the AMERICAN government or the immigrants that come to AMERICA Legally!!

Because they are in the country illegally, they are not allowed to apply for citizenship.
