Well, this will be embarrassing.
Facebook updated its software over the weekend, and a bug in the system for a short while allowed users to see the identity of people who post on commercial pages and those maintained for celebrities and other people of note. It turns out that many of the posts on Greta Thunberg’s page, which are all credited to her, actually come from her father, Svante Thunberg, as well as Adarsh Prathap, a climate activist in India who serves as a delegate at the UN’s Climate Change organization.
Greta explained away the issue by claiming that she rarely uses Facebook and uses her father’s account to copy and paste her tweets and other info. Prathap set up the page without her and as the page gained traction, she asked to co-manage it.
