McDonald’s Running Out of Quarter Pounders After Promotion with Rapper

People must really like Rapper Travis Scott… and McDonald’s.

According to the fast-food company, they are running out of the ingredients necessary to make what they are calling the “Travis Scott Meal,” which is a quarter-pounder burger with bacon, fries, and a Sprite.

After starting a promotion with the rap star, consumers overran the company with demand, so now McDonald’s is controlling the supply of beef, bacon, onions, and lettuce necessary to make the burgers.

McDonald’s USA said in a statement:

“We’re working closely with our suppliers, distributors and franchisees to resupply impacted restaurants as quickly as possible.”

There was no word on whether or not the promotion made the burger taste better, or somehow kept consumers from getting indigestion an hour later.
