In May, Rachel Maddow of MSNBC captured the attention of the fewest members of the coveted 25-54 demographic since January 2017, when President Trump first took office.
Maddow’s show took a beating right after the Mueller report was released, presumably because the report showed no American colluded with Russia, including all members of Trump’s organization as well as Trump himself.
Fox News remains the leader in capturing the key group of viewers, but even its numbers are down double digits since the Mueller report came out.
Overall, Fox is the champion in prime time viewing hours, logging 2.388 million viewers compared with 1.654 million on MSNBC, and just 761,000 on CNN.
Americans of all stripes are turning off the political news.
