Instagram Bans a Post of What’s Trending on Twitter… They’re Canceling Each Other!
After Twitter and other social media platforms banned President Trump, many users began to question why the platforms would ban the president for what they claim are false, hateful, or violence-inciting posts when they allow other content that appears to be much worse, including those by the Ayatollah of Iran.
One trending tweet is “Hang Mike Pence,” which has been retweeted more than 10,000 times.
But in a fit of irony, Instagram just blocked a post that was calling attention to the tweet about Vice President Pence.
The website “Not the Bee” had posted the tweet on Instagram, only to receive a message that the post was removed for violence and incitement.
Obviously, the website “Not the Bee” agrees with Instagram. Why would Twitter leave up such a message?
