To say that Brian May is accomplished is a bit of an understatement.
The Brit is a founding member and guitarist of the rock band Queen, and wrote 22 of their top 20 hits, including the widely used anthem We Will Rock You!
But wait, there’s more.
May is also an astrophysicist, and after a three-decade absence from the field he returned to update his doctoral thesis on the Motions of Interplanetary Dust, achieving his PhD from Imperial College, London, in 2007.
Recently the doctor and rock legend joined the legion of other music artists by giving an online micro concert during the coronavirus lockdown, but instead of just playing some requested tunes, May went the extra mile. He gave a guitar lesson that covered the difficult solo in the middle of Bohemian Rhapsody.
Maybe next he’ll give lessons on stargazing.
