It’s been an interesting year for the Democrats!
Over the past two days, Peter Buttigieg, 37, dropped out, as did Tom Steyer, and now Amy Klobuchar. The recent changes leave Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and Michael Bloomberg as the national male candidates still in the race. At 77, Biden is younger than both Sanders, 78, and Bloomberg, who is between the two.
As for the women left, it’s just 70-year-old Elizabeth Warren and 38-year-old Tulsi Gabbard. Neither woman has a path to victory for the nomination.
This leaves the Democrats choosing among three, almost 80-year-old men as the leader of their party to challenge the relatively spry 73-year-old Donald Trump.
