Better than Reagan, Clinton, Bush, or Obama, that’s how President Trump fared with Republican voters in the New Hampshire Primaries.
Many people don’t realize it, but the Republicans are holding primaries in many states, and Trump isn’t the only one on the ballot. In New Hampshire, he was one of 16 vying for the nomination. When the numbers were tallied, he received more than 118,000 votes, more than any of the incumbents listed above when they ran for re-election. And Trump received 100% of the delegates.
This might have a bit to do with how people felt after the smoke from the impeachment proceedings cleared. More than 50% of Americans say the process emboldened President Trump, while just 16% say it weakened him.
